All the 5-star reviews might make you a bit skeptical, but actually working with Carl will demonstrate that he is a consummate professional, and never makes promises he can't honor. It is very important to listen closely to his advice, particularly when he counsels patience--and not entering into the litigation process with unreasonable expectations. That said, Carl and his staff will always be prompt when answering your e-mails, even when "nothing" is happening with your case (which can be weeks at a time). While personal injury lawyers don't exactly have the best of reputations, Carl K. is perhaps one of the few exceptions: he is scrupulously honest; maintains high ethical standards; and is unfailingly business-like, yet courteous and friendly.

Carl is a consummate professional, though always friendly and cordial. He is a straight-shooter (unlike many in his line of work) and will answer all your questions honestly & accurately--even if the info he's providing isn't to your liking. Meetings with him stick to the agenda, and he doesn't waste your time with BS. He and his staff answer your e-mails promptly. Please keep in mind that the litigation process is a long one, and weeks will go by when nothing seems to be happening. But Carl and/or his staff will keep you informed of their progress, or lack thereof. Carl counsels patience, and that's good advice. Bottom Line: you can trust this lawyer to do exactly what he has promised, and to do it ethically.

You will not find a better attorney to represent you in an accident. I was hit by a driver impaired by drugs or alcohol. Only minor injury and damage to my vehicle, yet a big impact on my life for the next month in terms of my time and energy. Even with just the minor accident, Carl was able to bend the insurance company to payout out the driver's policy limits. During the mediation I witnessed Carl as a master tactician. He was 12 moves ahead each step of the insurance company's negotiator.

The process to get to the mediation was slow and that seems to be the norm so you have to be patient I learned. When it's time to step into the ring against a mega insurance company however, Carl delivers as promised the first day you meet him.

Should you need representation for personal injury, this is very good representation. I do not require much additional contact after the initial meeting, but they have been good about following up. Settlements take time, so I barely require more than a once a month email. Very personable. Be patient and expect the process to take months and not weeks. The: opposing parties are afforded something like 30 days to respond to each demand. The staff is good about prompting the opposing parties to keep the process moving. If they represent you, it's because they find merit and/or injustice in the case, and see a potential path to making you whole. They won't waste your time or theirs, and they are the "Boar" when fighting for you. Be patient and relax; you had zip, nada, zilch before you obtained representation… now you have hope, and that is worth quite a bit.

I completely agree with what Mike says in the reviews. Carl is incredibly driven and experienced. Every time I met with him he told me the plan of attack and then he carried out the attack.

When you first go to Carl's office you wonder how his little office could provide such great service. Both Carl and his staff are very attentive to your needs as a client. They work hard and quickly to get your case finalized. Sometime this process can take awhile but they are very good about letting you know how things are moving along. They have a fabulous FAQ section on their website that helps to answer many questions. Carl is especially friendly and truly cares about his clients. He will get you the maximum possible amount for your injuries as quickly as possible. I can't say enough about how well he handled my accident.

The best advice I can give to anyone working with Carl is to listen to him. I was wanting to get my case settled and behind me but he told me that I would be missing out on a large portion of my case's value. That was hard to imagine. But he was right! It was worth the couple months extra work and wait. I am very thankful for his dedication to see my case all the way through.

Carl was amazing at handling our family's claims.  He was right here in town, knew how to get us in to the right doctors, and walked us through every step of the process.  We always felt like he deeply cared about us and our case and he was always very accessible and easy to visit with.
